Columbia Heights is a city in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. Columbia Heights is a first-ring northern suburb of Minneapolis, which borders it on the south. Its downtown district is centered at the intersection of 40th Avenue NE and Central Avenue and includes the Heights Theater, county offices, the Public Library, and various businesses. Ostrander Park
This neighborhood park offers playground equipment, benches, tables, and both a skating rink and hockey rink in the winter months. The park building is available for a rental fee. During the summer months, the Recreation Department holds youth summer programs in the building, and this is one of the parks where you can see the very popular Puppet Wagon Puppet Shows.

Ramsdell Park
Formerly known as Mathaire Park, this is a busy neighborhood park and recently updated. The wading pool is monitored by the Public Works Department and is generally open every day in June, July, and August. The park building and shelter are available for a rental fee to use for private events. The Recreation Department and Columbia Heights School District hold many softball games on this newly updated ballfield.
